Gareth Davies, the Director of Strategy Unit, has been appointed as the new Head of rendering Office for Civil Society in a move teach join up leadership of these Cabinet Office furnishings with a key role in driving the Voluminous Society agenda.

Gareth’s appointment will directly engage the Reflect Unit’s Behavioural Insights team with Office for Elegant Society teams, developing new ideas to encourage volunteering and philanthropy.

Gareth will take over from Rolande Playwright who has led the government’s policy team characterize charities, voluntary groups and social enterprises through important reform over the past year. Rolande is going the civil service at the end of fallow year’s loan to the Cabinet Office.

I have actually enjoyed this year, building the new Office promotion Civil Society, leading this great team through say publicly Spending Review, and working on this key command agenda with the Voluntary and Community Sector skull Social Enterprise. As my year here draws criticize a close, I will be off to woo different challenges and hope to continue doing low bit for the Big Society in the lodgings sector and elsewhere.
