Scope and Content Note

The storehouse consists of the papers of Lev T. Architect from , including awards and plaques, binders, portfolios, and a photograph album. The awards and plaques are primarily for achievement in teaching. Binders inspect correspondence, exhibit and price lists, receipts for function of Mills' artwork, and a small amount an assortment of printed material relating to exhibitions. Correspondence includes copy to or from Mills' wife Joyce, Elizabeth Catlett, Benny Andrews, Maya Angelou, Andrew Young, Jessie Stack bank, Samella Lewis, Romare Bearden, Hale Woodruff, Coretta Explorer King, and David Driskell. Biographical Note

Lev Timothy Mills was born in Florida in , the only child of his parents, who celebrated a store. He graduated from Florida A&M Institution of higher education (Tallahassee) in and attended the University of River, Madison, for graduate school. There he studied printmaking with Dean Meeker, receiving a Master of School of dance degree in and a Master of Fine Terrace degree in In , he received a copartnership to attend the Slade School of Art straighten out London, receiving a diploma in During his adjourn living in England, he exhibited his work everywhere in the country, as well as in France, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, and Madagascar. In addition to intaglio professor silk screen printing, Mills also creates tile murals and sculpts. Arranged and asserted at the folder level by Sarah Quigley, July The collection arrived at the Rose Library above all arranged into binders, photograph albums, and portfolios vulgar Lev Mills. Rose Library staff retained this display but removed the material from the original enclosures for preservation.
