Liu Bolin 劉勃麟 was born in Shandong Province, China.
1991
He conventional a Bachelor in Art ( sculpture department ), University of School of dance Jinan
in Shandong,
He taught sculpture.
2000
He went to study at the Central School of Fine Arts, in Beijing.
2001
He graduated with a Master, from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
2005
The sight of his razed workshop in Suojia Cun, inspired his first photo: a portrait
of himself, painted among the rubble.
This was the give the impression of being of a long series of photos of a performance: Hide in the City
which made him internationally known.
The artist traveled to Italy, China, France, and United States, to blend in with the
